About us
The Phi Beta Epsilon Fraternity
The Phi Beta Epsilon (Wikipedia) is a Professional Fraternity for Engineers currently exclusive for the students in the College of Engineering in Iloilo City, Philippines - Colleges and Universities. It was founded on September 28, 1947, as a local fraternity at the Central Philippines College now Central Philippines University, and started to branch out a chapter in 1950 at Iloilo City College and up to now.
Its purpose is to bind the top and talented engineering students from different engineering schools in Iloilo City together so that they may work shoulder to shoulder for a common good and noble end. The fraternity is dedicated to the ideals of scholarship, leadership development, service, and fellowship. All members are men who are pursuing studies in any field of engineering or applied science.
The fraternity currently has several alumni member organizations, based in the Philippines and various countries around the world. A global network of Betans ready to support the Resident Members in all chapters in particular and the fellowship in general.

To all Betans around the world,
Greetings of peace and solidarity Brothers and Sisters of WIT Betans and around the globe! The long-awaited event of the year has come to its peak!
As our connection get stronger and passes through the years, through the tears, and all the sacrifices, it's Time For Us to recompense and gather all the memories that we cherished together as a true camaraderie.
This upcoming February 17-19, 2023, at Nabas, Aklan is an extraordinary event for us to give ourselves the greatest applause, and to shake the hands of our long-lost brothers and sisters.
We, the WIT Betans, honorably invite you to join us and to witness the celebration of our Grand Reunion 2023 together with the installation of our new brothers from batches 99-100 from the Western Institute of Technology!

The West Coast USA Betans is now preparing the venue of the 8th North America Betans Caravan 2024. The event is going to be held at Los Angeles, California USA.
Tentative date: June 16 to 19, 2024
Tentative location: Laguna Beach, California USA

Iloilo City Betans Caravan 2022
What: Iloilo Betans Caravan 2022 for the Phi Beta Epsilon Fraternity 75th Diamond Founding Anniversary
Date: September 28, 2022
Assembly Time: 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM
Assembly Location: CPU in front of the College of Engineering
Registration: Php 600.00 per head (this includes served buffet for lunch).
Place of Venue: Punta Villa - Crown Ballroom Function Room
Caravan Route:
Starting from the CPU campus in Jaro, going all along passing ISAT-U, and WIT campuses in La Paz, then proceed to Iloilo City passing the Iloilo Provincial Capitol, USA campus, Iznart, and JM Basa Street then passing the UI campus, Plaza Libertad, Iloilo City Hall then back again passing USA campus and proceed to end at Punta Villa.
Iloilo City will provide motorcycle escorts for smooth traffic.
